Quest for Glory 3 Easter Eggs

  1. There's a Silly Clown from QFG2 sitting in the Inn at Tarna.
  2. The moose in the bazaar is property of the Sierra Prop department (look at it, you'll see).
  3. Oliver Brelsford (the lead programmer) is sitting at the Inn in Tarna. He's the guy at the right table with the tons of food and a coke can.
  4. The weapon seller is selling daggers from the Aman Ra tribe, in reference to the game "The Dagger of Amon Ra".
  5. If you have a fire burning in the savanna and leave, a death message appears along with Smokey the Elephant. Then the game tells you that was just a test of the emergency death broadcasting system.
  6. For the funniest way to die, go to Salim's apothecary and sit down. Now light the pipes with your tinderbox and HAND them three times. Kids, don't try this at home!
  7. The weapon seller is selling a bow from the Lara tribe, in reference to Laura Bow.
  8. When you're starving in the savanna, the Awful Waffle Walker will start following you. If you cast a flame dart at him, you can roast him.
  9. The blackbird that appears in all of the QFG games (if you're a thief) is sold by the Junk Dealers at the bazaar.
  10. One of the random rumors the meat seller in Tarna tells you is that the Cubs have won the world series (referring, of course, to the Chicago Cubs and the World Baseball Series).
  11. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy randomly appear in the savanna, dressed as French soldiers.
  12. In reference to Conquest of the Longbow, the weapon seller sells Conquest-brand arrows for the Longbow.
  13. There are signs in the savannah, like in QFG2.
  14. Ask the Apothecary guy about his Dream. He refers back to Julanar in QFG2.
  15. Look at the books in in Kreesha's house. They have names like Gone With the Wand. (originally titled Gone with the Wind)
  16. The junk dealers are Sanford & Son from an old TV series (Public note: I remember someone submitting this, but I lost the name. Will the submitter please raise his hand?)
  17. The only reference to Mordavia (the next land in the series) is by the money changer .
